Ivchenko Progress India Pvt. Ltd. (IP India) is a joint venture Indian company with its main focus being on Indigenous capability build up in the crucial aero-engines domain, related to all type of platforms, viz fighters/trainers, transport aircraft, helicopters, and unmanned platforms. Ivchenko Progress India has forged a strategic partnership with the aero engine technology giants from Ukraine – namely Ivchenko Progress SE and Motor Sich JSC. Ivchenko Progress SE is a world renowned, internationally acclaimed aero-engine Design House from Ukraine that focuses on the full design cycle of airborne engines from concept to prototype to production. Some of its famous engines are powering the largest transport aircraft of the world. Similarly Motor Sich is a 100 years old company, also world famous for its expertise in aero-engine design and production, especially the helicopter engines. Ivchenko Progress designed and Motor Sich Produced engines have been flying in the IAF since more than five decades.
